ERASMUS PLACEMENT PROGRAMME

PROCEDURES



ELIGIBILITY

You should be a full-time student at your home university.
Your home university and Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University should have a Erasmus Bilateral Agreement
Your university must nominate you
APPLICATION FORM

Please complete the Application Form.

TRANSCRIPT

Please obtain your recent transcript in English.

LEARNING AGREEMENT

Please complete the Placement Programme & Training Agreement Form.which describes the programme at COMU. It must be agreed and signed by the individual student, home institution and host institution before the student leaves the home country. It should be prepared and should be signed and stamped by sending organization. Afterwards it should be sent in the scanned attachment to erasmusincomingcomu.edu.tr .

SUBMIT YOUR DOCUMENTS

Prepare the documents below:
1. Application Form with photograph (1 copy)
2. Transcript in English (1 copy)
3. Placement Programme & Training Agreement Form.
4. Copy of your passport (including your id details )

DEADLINES

ACCEPTANCE LETTER

We will then fax and post you an Acceptance Letter which you may also need for your visa purposes.

FEES AND OTHER EXPENSES

As a Erasmus student, you are not required to pay COMU any tuition fee, which includes registration, examinations, and access to library and laboratory facilities. You do, however, have to pay for your own accommodation, travel, educational materials, insurance and other living expenses. You will continue to pay normal tuition fees to your home institution during the study period abroad. Any grant or loan which you receive at your home institution may not be discontinued, interrupted or reduced while you are away studying at COMU.

VISA

You may require to get a student visa before entering to the country. After receiving your Acceptance Letter, please contact the Turkish Consulate in your home country and apply for a Student Visa to Turkey. Please click here to get more information.

RESIDENT PERMIT

All international students in Turkey, regardless of status, must register with the Foreign National departments of the Police Headquarters in Canakkale within a month of the entering Turkey. For more information and necessary froms please click here>>>

BEFORE YOU LEAVE

Please visit Departmental Erasmus Coordinator to get your Confirmation of Exchange Form.

ERASMUS STUDENT CHARTER

To promote Erasmus students' awareness of their rights and obligations, each Erasmus student will receive an Erasmus Student Charter from their home university before leaving for the study period abroad. The Erasmus Student Charter outlines the basic entitlements of the Erasmus students, such as free tuition and full recognition of studies abroad. The Charter also specifies the main obligations of the Erasmus students, providing them with a concise idea of their duties in respect of both their home and host universities. It will be issued to all Erasmus students by their home universities before they leave for their study period abroad.
