Visit from Varna Technical University to Our University
 

As part of the Erasmus Staff Mobility Program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Borislav Georgiev Naydenov from Varna Technical University in Bulgaria visited our university on November 27, 2024.

The visit was organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and the Erasmus Office. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Naydenov was accompanied by the Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt, Erasmus Department Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adem Polat, and Research Assistant Kübra Çakır. The visit also included a meeting at the Office of International Relations, attended by the Coordinator of the Office, Dr. Emrah Yağmurlu, and Incoming Erasmus Staff Coordinator, Lecturer Çağrı Ege.

During the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Naydenov delivered a seminar titled "The Development of Mobile Networks from 1G to 5G" to undergraduate students in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The seminar offered students and academics valuable insights into the historical evolution and future advancements of mobile communication technologies, receiving significant interest and engagement.

This academic visit is considered an important step toward fostering future collaborations and joint projects between the two universities.
