TRAVEL TO CANAKKALE

There are flights from Istanbul  Airport and Ankara Esenboğa Airport to Canakkale Airport . The prices start from around 20€  and up. 

 

Please note that the distance from Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen Airport to  Istanbul Airport is quite long and travellers find it difficult, costly and time -consuming to transfer from one airport to the other airport.

 

So, we advice you to travel to Istanbul Airport or Ankara Esenboğa Airport if you are going to take a flight to Canakkale. Or if you travel to Istanbul Airport, make sure you have at least 3 hours between flights.

Çanakkale can be reached by the frequent intercity bus services from Istanbul, Izmir and Ankara. Intercity buses are all modern and air-conditioned. They run almost every hour, day and night. Avoid travelling during National Holidays when there is shortage of places.
