In the fall semester of the 2023-2024 academic year, international exchange students at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ) visited the historical site as part of an event organized in collaboration with the Directorate of Gallipoli Historical Site.

The visit of our exchange students from abroad, within the scope of the "Erasmus Days 2023," to the historical past and cultural values of the Çanakkale Battles Historical Area is of great importance. During the event, they visited the following sites under the guidance of the Directorate of Gallipoli Historical Site: "Martyr Corporal Statue, Alcitepe 1915 Red Crescent Hospital Exhibition, 1915 Trench Reenactment, Martyrs' Memorial, Seddülbahir Castle, 57th Infantry Regiment Martyrdom, Conkbayır - The Place Where Atatürk's Watch Was Broken."

Students from Germany, the Czech Republic, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Poland, and Slovakia who are part of the Erasmus, Freemover, and bilateral cooperation agreements with Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University will study at ÇOMÜ and participate in various local events alongside ÇOMÜ students.

As is known, the Erasmus+ Program, the European Union's program in the fields of education, youth, and sports, has been implemented by the National Agency since 2004. Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University is also engaged in activities to raise awareness of the Erasmus+ Program, increase the visibility of supported projects, encourage individuals who have not yet benefited from the program to do so and promote the program.
